About the Author
Robyn Caughlan is an Indigenous Australian artist and textile and fashion designer. She grew up in a foster home and did not learn of her Aboriginal heritage until the age of thirty. She has exhibited at the Sydney Opera House, the National Maritime Museum, the Australian Museum and the Art Gallery of New South Wales. She has also exhibited internationally in Helsinki, St Petersburg and Dubai. Her fashion work has included designs for the Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Teen Universe pagaents. Caughlan has both Darug and Darkinjung heritage.
